Audit of Agricorp - January 25, 2007

Clinton: Carol Mitchell, MPP Huron-Bruce is supporting an audit of Agricorp. She stated “I support the resolution presented at the Huron County Corn, Wheat & Soy Producers.” The resolution asked for a “value for service” audit.

On January 23rd the Bruce County Corn, Soybean & Wheat Producers supported the motion at their annual meeting. Carol Mitchell said that Agricorp was not serving the needs of our farmers. The audit would ensure transparency and accountability. Agricorp was set up by the previous government as an independent organization. Carol Mitchell spoke at the Huron County annual meeting which was held on January 12th at Holmesville.
