Press Release Pre Budget Consultation - January 12, 2007

Clinton: Carol Mitchell, MPP Huron-Bruce said that people of Huron-Bruce will have an opportunity to have their say and provide comments on the 2007 Ontario budget. The questionnaire is on the website http://www.Carolmitchell.ca.  As part of the Ontario budget process the McGuinty government is providing an opportunity for citizens to comment. The budget questionnaire and information is available at the office for those who do not have internet access.

Carol said that in previous years the website and her consultation had provided a rural viewpoint. The results are presented to the Minister of Finance. In the next month Carol Mitchell will be hearing from people throughout Ontario as a member of the Standing Committee on Finance & Economic Affairs she will attend 9 public hearings.
